If you’re a reseller, you may want to consider cross-posting (also known as cross-listing) your products on other marketplaces in an effort to boost sales. This task is no longer done manually as it was in the past!
It takes what feels like forever to upload pictures and complete listing pages for each of the major online marketplaces, including Mercari, Etsy, Poshmark, and eBay. But once I found Vendoo, I realized I had found one of the most important tools to help me earn more money and save time, since I can now easily and rapidly cross-post my things to several platforms in a matter of minutes.
What Is Vendoo?
Vendoo is an e-commerce platform designed to simplify and streamline the selling process for online merchants. It provides tools and features to help sellers manage their inventory, listings, and sales across multiple online marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, and others. With Vendoo, users can create and edit listings, track sales and inventory levels, optimize pricing strategies, and more, all from a single centralized dashboard. Additionally, Vendoo offers automation features to save time and improve efficiency, making it an attractive solution for both new and experienced online sellers looking to scale their businesses.
Why use a service like Vendoo?
The popularity of Internet sales has increased recently. People are turning into full-time and part-time sellers at an increasing rate.
They offer their products on several platforms, such as Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, and Facebook Marketplace, to enhance visibility and optimize sales.
It requires a lot of work to crosslist every item on different marketplaces. Nobody has the time to hand enumerate thousands or even hundreds of objects. As a vendor, you have so much more work to do!
That’s the role of services such as Vendoo. They enable sellers to cross-list their products more quickly than they could if they did it alone on several marketplaces.
I became weary of manually relisting my things, so late in 2020 I decided to give Vendoo a try. I would use it again if I thought it was worth the money. I would just stop paying for it if I didn’t like it or if it didn’t assist me.

How does it work?
Ten marketplaces are currently supported by Vendoo as of this version (and you may choose to track your sales on other unintegrated marketplaces).
1. Poshmark
2. eBay
3. Mercari
4. Depop
5. Etsy
6. Grailed
7. Facebook Marketplace
8. Vestaire Collective
9. Kidizen
10. Shopify
The first thing you should do after signing up is make sure you are logged in and registered with the marketplaces you wish to utilize.
Next, there are two methods you may upload your things to the Vendoo website:
Direct upload using the Vendoo app or listing template.
Import items coming from a market location. To utilize this feature, you must purchase it (more on this below).
After an item is in Vendoo, you can click on the marketplace name to list it and complete any other required fields.
More information is needed in some markets than others. I could have to decide whether to give free or buyer-paid delivery, what category an item falls under, or how much of it to sell.
After completing a marketplace, choose its name, provide any further information that may be needed, and select “list it.” The procedure proceeds swiftly.
Since Vendoo provides most or all of the marketplace-required fields, when you cross-list on another platform, the data automatically appears.
Of all the marketplaces, eBay demands the most information, so consumers fill out all the required fields there, and then Vendoo imports that data. On the other hand, certain fields might need to be manually filled out.
However, your drafts on eBay will expire after a few weeks if you like to work in batches or save a lot of them. In Vendoo, they never run out of time or vanish.

Pricing
The number of goods you list each month determines the tiers of the membership.
Every package includes a few standard features:
Access to list on 3 marketplaces
Image hosting
Image resizer & editor
Inventory page
You can list 5 items for free each month. The rest of the options are pictured below.
Three add-ons are available as options. You may purchase them individually for $4.99 or all of them for $11.99.
Importing: You may import your listings from a marketplace using this capability. When you first start using Vendoo, this is useful.
For the first month or two, you may purchase this and quickly and easily import all of your listings into their system. Copy and paste everything to save yourself the trouble of uploading each item.
Relist and delist: Relisting is a tactic employed by merchants to maintain their products at the top of search engine rankings. You should relist the item if it hasn’t sold after a considerable amount of time and after you’ve reduced the price as far as you can.
This functionality makes it a lot faster than manually delisting and relisting with a few clicks.
Since then, Vendoo has released a feature with several actions. With a few clicks, you may use this to quickly remove, delist, and relist many goods from a platform. I think you can only use this functionality if you buy the relist & delist add-on.
Every market – The basic subscription entitles you to three marketplace listings. You may list as many as you like, or all of them, using this add-on.
The newest feature, analytics, allows you to analyze sales by period, including month or year-to-date, income and profit by marketplace, and top-selling categories and brands.
For every sale, the data must be manually entered. That data is not automatically retrieved from the several markets by it.
However, marketplace costs are now automatically determined and entered on the “Mark as Sold” form (except eBay and Shopify fees, which differ according to your membership and subscription). Time-saving and with less math!
For a short period, this functionality is presently free. I’m not sure when payment will be needed for it.

Update 8/28/22: New pricing models are being tested by Vendoo. An unlimited package that includes all add-ons so you don’t have to pay for them separately is one possibility. Paying for a longer membership, such as a year, upfront and getting a discount, such as two months free, is another pricing structure. If you would like further information, get in touch with Vendoo.
Is Vendoo allowed by the marketplaces?
Yes and no are the answers. While some markets permit it, others do not.
Poshmark
According to Poshmark’s prior terms of service, using services provided by third parties is permitted.

The community standards of Poshmark prohibit the use of automation. However since all operations were performed by users in real time when I first started using Vendoo in 2020, the firm did not employ automation.
Now that some Vendoo functions are seen as automated, things become a little hazy, but that is the way that Vendoo and other businesses plan to support resellers.

When I wrote Poshmark to ask if they accept services like Vendoo, I received no response. All it said was that they don’t work with other businesses like Vendoo.
The most recent terms of service for Poshmark are less clear. Poshmark is aware of the usage of third-party services, such as cross-listing and sharing, both automatically through bots and manually.
To compete, they’ve sent out questionnaires to find out which businesses Poshers use and have developed a simpler sharing technique called “select all” share to followers.
They are aware that the major Poshmark vendors utilize these tools to increase sales and profit for both Poshmark and themselves. The hand that feeds them won’t be bit by them.
Mercari
I inquired in writing with Mercari about the acceptance of services like Vendoo. The business retorted that using services from other parties is forbidden.
I’ve read that Mercari intends to continue operating as a marketplace for independent and small vendors. Large retailers and fully integrated businesses are not welcome to sell there. I’m not sure whether this is accurate, but Mercari has strong policies about what it will and will not allow to be sold.
You run the risk of using Vendoo in markets where it is prohibited. You can receive a warning, be suspended, or be blocked from their website. It’s possible, even though I haven’t heard of this occurring when using a third-party service.
It is advisable to first review the policies of the marketplaces you intend to utilize. Next, determine how comfortable you are utilizing a cross-listing service on your own.
